I was born on the river...the Raritan River in Perth Amboy, New Jersey.  Spawning from the gene pool of Frank Sinatra and emerging from the riverbed of the birth of Jazz, R&B, Soul, and the future settlements of Polish, Italian, Ukrainian, and later Puerto Rican and Dominican immigrants, creating a Soul Stew of diverse and delicious foods, music, and culture.
